What kind of injury is it

What happened
My sesamoid fracture occurred in February of 2010, I have seen the orthopedic surgeons, have attended the physio with the acutherapy sessions, have had one beyers ( unsure of spelling) and going for at least two more. The swelling has drastically decreased but the severe pain is still there and I am still unable to put any pressure on the ball of my big toe. I am also still wearing a walking boot(cast).
What I'd Do Differently
- Thinking my only way out of this is the surgery.
- I am returning to see the surgeon in 3 wks time.
