Even Overcast You can Still Get a Sunburn

Picture of my leg which is very burnt and swollen

Location of the injury

face, backs of legs, arms and fingers. Ankles and fingers very swollen.

What kind of injury is it

Severe sunburn

What happened

It was an overcast day in Phoenix, AZ and had just rained the night before. It was rain forecasted all day, so I skipped the sun screen. For some reason, the main part of the sunburn is on the backs of my legs.

What I'd Do Differently

  • Use sunscreen next time and know that it really doesn't matter if its overcast, you can still get sunburn.
