What kind of injury is it
you are looking at my swollen ankle from a burn on a steam pipe. It is on my left ankle right above my foot.
What happened
I burned my left ankle on a metal pipe that carries hot steam. I had also burned it a few times in the same spot after that. The skin was also ripped off when it was burned. I had also then scraped the rest of the skin off from the corner of my bed, and now there is swelling all around it. I haven't been to the doctor because it seems to be healing.
What I'd Do Differently
- I learned to watch where I'm walkin and what I'm walking around. No I wouldn't have gone to the doctor, I'm one of those people who wait until the last minute.
