Why I think it's a spider bite
I just thought I was bitten.
What happened
I awoke to a pain in my right bicep. I felt a pinch-like bite at the time; I woke up in the middle of the night when it happened. I never saw a spider but I recall seeing and killing a spider in our home just days before. The spider's body was no bigger than two pencil erasers side by side with toothpick thick legs. Again, I never saw a spider and I looked around for one around the area of my bed. I applied rubbing alcohol and went back to bed.
Advice
My sis-in-law is a nurse and she said she thinks it might be herpes outbreak. The wound changed, grew over the next five days. It became inflamed with a goose flesh appearance
