Why I think it's a spider bite
I'm not really thing its a spider bite cause in the begining when I first noticed it it had a bruise around it.
What happened
On 09/28/12 I was trimming bushes outside and had thin long sweat pants on. I done cute one side of the house and went to the front and cut some then stepped back to start again and I felt a sharp sting. I didn't pay attention to what it was cause it didn't hurt afterwards. Later on that night I was fixing to take a shower and my hand brushed against my leg and it was sore. There was a red hole in the center and around it was a purple bruise. Well I just figured it would be ok and I didn't really think more about it. About a week later I look at it and it was really hard around it and looked like a knot on my leg. It hurt to touch it...very tender. It was also red and felt like it had fever in it. Well on 10/31/12 I talked w/ my grandma she said she thought it was a boil and told me to stick a needle in it then put fatback on it......OK my grandma is really country...gotta luv her though. Anyway I did and pus came out. I thought I got it all. I did the fatback thing for a day and that didn't work. So on 11/8/12 I seen an orthopedic cause I work there and he told me to put cortizone on it. I'm doing that but there is still a knot and it is still red around it and there still feels like fever in it. It really hurts to the touch. I have never had anything like this and to my knowledge I'm not allergic to nothing. I just want it to go away its kinda freakin me out.
Advice
- I should have went to a doctor in the first place.
