Bug bite?

Tell us where your bite is (arm, leg, nose, whatever)

Tummy Close to belly button

Why I think it's a spider bite

Well, we have a lot of spiders in our area

What happened

I was asleep and I woke up with an itch in my belly. I pulled my shirt up then I found this huge red spot with an eye in the middle of it. Looks like a volcano. This is my story. When I have more I will let you know

Advice

  • 1. Wash the bite with soap and water.
  • 2. Apply a cool compress.
  • 3. Apply Bite Rx. (see below)
  • 4. If necessary, take over-the-counter medication to control pain or itching.
  • 5. Antibiotics are not helpful unless the wound becomes infected.
  • 6. Do not cut or apply suction to the wound.
  • 7. Monitor the bite for redness, swelling, pain, or signs of infection.
  • 8. Re-apply Bite Rx to control bite symptoms and promote healing.
  • 9. If redness, swelling or pain does not subside or there are signs of infection consult your physician.
