Each individual must decide whether he or she is drinking too much alcohol too often. When it happens, though, there can be some dangerous - or at least very uncomfortable - results. Here are some results of drinking too much alcohol.

Alcohol Poisoning

Alcohol poisoning is a dangerous condition that can be deadly. It should be a concern any time someone drinks enough to vomit while passed out. If you are with someone who is throwing up while unconscious, roll him or her to the side and call 911.

Hangover

The dreaded hangover. Hangovers can range from annoying to debilitating. The secret to avoiding a hangover - don't drink! If you want to drink alcohol, then the secret of avoiding a hangover is to drink more - water, not alcohol.

Alcohol Complicates Everything Else

Alcohol gets in the way of treating other conditions. Intoxication makes it hard to evaluate victims. Alcohol thins the blood and can keep surgeons from treating some conditions for fear of bleeding.
