Definition: Behind-the-counter medications do not require a prescription but require discussion with a pharmacist prior to purchase.
Examples:
Psuedoephedrine and Plan B are both behind-the-counter drugs. Behind-the-counter drugs are still considered over-the-counter nonprescription medications by the FDA.
